Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

Please share what city and job has been affected

We need to share what city and job has been affected. If a package was offered or not. What type of notice was given or if none was given.

This would help us all to get an idea what the company is doing. It will give us kind of a heads up on who’s next. It will help us be informed.

Unfortunately this company doesn’t care how long you have been here. It shows in how they are doing things.

The bottom line is cut expenses and get the stock up.

Sent the bosses to fire CPA's and engineers. Next day they themselves were fired. So far it looks like 13 in Colorado and counting. Package shows weekly support calls til the end of the year. It was the most brutal chicken sh-- way of letting people go.

Las Vegas laid off 7 engineers and a supervisor last week. We have heard that they are starting again this week. We are waiting to see who’s next..

Central Florida 26,400 in contract plus bonus money from 3500 from 1 year up to 30,000 with 30 plus. All depends on years of service. You will have 14 days to decide. Then they will make you wait till last minute possible before they tell u if approved! That's the voluntary separation one. We are union so that's what we got offered. Anyone else not represented get no notice. Shady how they do, but hey Centurylink has no customers. Lol

Not only craft is affected. It’s management also. Get off the union kick. It has nothing to do with the union. That person who made the union comment doesn’t have a cue
