The second time they have screwed up a mud company. What now for MI- SWACO the former jewel in the Smith crown?

At least the old M-I management wasn’t dumb enough to put cementers in charge of other PSLs.
The good news is that as long as Baker Hughes has a mud segment M-I will never be in last place.
Nothing to destroy. MI never was great. Sh-- money, bad management. MI people suffer not because of slb it because of MI very bad organisation.
Well I can say this. 10 years ago the Florence Ky plant used to be THE best place to work in the entire region. Now we can't even get decent employees. We have the reputation of being poorly managed. Surrounding companies now pay more and have better benefits. Very sad.
SLB didn’t help MI maintain its leading position-but let’s be clear, Baroid and the young guys running it delivered the kill shot over the last couple of years. Now we have Newpark moving in like crows to pick the carcus of the fallen orange roadkill.
The only thing that interests me is how to backstab my coworkers as soon as they turn their back.
There’s no “i” in Schlumberger but there is one in MI and Smith! I all read on this tread is the mistreatment of Legacy people. You need to look at your pay cheque and who’s paying you!
The Schlumberger culture is sick and dysfunctional and is incapable of integrating with other organizations who have healthy positive people cultures. That has been proven several times in the past but management self interest and bonuses override history and common sense to the detriment of shareholders.
