I sold all my WIN shares when they were still $7 a share early last year, that seems like 100 years ago with the price of the stock of the 'new WE'!
I knew something was up years ago when they announced they were going to match 401k contributions with company stock instead of cash. I sold and reinvested mine in something else asap, then encouraged my co-workers to do the same. I know they thought I was crazy for reading the company's financial statements, but I hope they listened. I am the escapee that made it out of assignment after 10 years of BS to become an accountant. There is much more I could say if anyone cared to listen. On this subject I won't say I told you so, but I will say stay alert and question everything corporate tells you.
Sold all of mine about a year ago...the writing has been on the wall for sometime...financial advisor suggested not to continue to buy this company stock and I listened, thank God!

A reverse split is usually a prime opportunity for new shorts to enter and ride the stock back down into the ground. I say 85% of chapter 11 with WS in 5 years or less.
Why would you have wxn stock at all. That's the better question. Anyone that does is foolish.
Not sure a reverse split is criminal... but, it is generally regarded as pointless. Also - not sure why you think Windstream would owe you money because of a reverse split. It doesn't change the total value you have - just how each stock is counted.
Now - of course we expect the stock to go down further... thus this safety net and attempt to fool investors into thinking there is more value.
Considering your assertions - I'm not sure we worse for wear without you.
