Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Date for Reverse Stock Split?

When will the reverse stock split occur? They better hurry up! Currently stock sitting at $1.22 having lost as much as $0.29 from the week's high. We might be a penny stock next week. In addition, since most hedge funds and institutional investors have a $5 minimum threshold the whole thing will be pointless and past the point of rescue!

"Thought this was to be a “good” financial move?"

It was, just not for the shareholders or employees. Gives the corporate executives time before it drops back below $2 a share....

By then they will have tried another 'trick' to keep the company from sinking....until....

I hope it works out but at the current disconnect rate I don’t know how the company survives. They’re losing bread and butter accounts they’ve had for years bc they can’t support them anymore. The disconnects have just begun.

You should really get out if you have a chance and avoid the blame.

Selling now is pointless. You already lost your shorts and someone continues to buy the stock at the low prices... Might as well ride it out.

It's not really pointless depending on what the "leadership" is trying to get done... If the plan is to have Windstream super majority share holder (3/4) to be TT and his cronies so they can prep the pig for slaughter then this makes perfect sense. You have less total stock to acquire now, when it dive bombs back to $2/1.5 you have saved 3/5 to 2/5 from the price it was sitting at before. However you still sitting above that magic $1 mark... Pretty sure Windstream has been keeping the stock price artificially above $1.5 via the buyback... right now Windstream is pretty safe from any type of raid because of the ownership distribution. So they are not going to make a move until this business about the junk bonds has had it's day in court.

Look out for the shorts - they smell blood. Reverse split is suicide. If you own this, sell baby sell.
