Does anyone on here really believe that we Ill get our merit increases in 3rd Quarter? I am very skeptical.

Your definition of good is definitely subjective.
Good bonuses this week. Probably will get merit raises next quarter as announced and maybe IPO by years end?????
I'm done. I cannot afford to work here anymore! 2017 - no merit, 2018 - delayed merit, health insurance premiums increased, 401k match decreased, PTO days reduced. If they can find a way, this company will take it from you!!
your should be angry with Federal Trade Commission and the antitrust division of the Department of Justice for canceling the waiting period and lack of investigation.
Who pays 1.2 billion for an organization in debt 3 billion?

Yes. Many employees have a big part of their compensation as the bonus, sacrificing a lower base pay. While there is some “jealousy” that some employees get bonuses I can guarantee you that is because those employees have lower base comp than they would working elsewhere. This company is not doing anything to “reward” its workers: the possibility of a bonus is less than a guaranteed higher base so this is actually a concession from employees to this company.
If the company doesn’t do bonuses they will have a serious loss of talent including in those units that support existing and financially viable products. As the company missed its numbers and needs double digit ebit and revenue growth to pull off an IPO at a decent valuation they would have a hard time if they lost more customers owing to non-renewals.
The real question is: how big (or small) will those bonuses be? If they are too big the margin contraction is not tolerable given recent losses; if the raises are too small and key folks flee the company will see (serious) loss of customer base and therefore negative revenue and ebit growth. This will retard the IPO or cause a lower valuation. The customers are already on to this companies cuts and the bad impacts on performance.
