About half of all folks in Provider Acquisition (Watson Health) got axed today. The number may be higher, as things are still transpiring. My estimate is that about 200 folks got axed – as expected, IBM is hiding all relevant info and they are playing this as nothing is happening – Truven is heavily affected. I left in 2017 but I still have some friends there – the mood is dismal and nobody believes fairy tales any more. Fear is rampant.

Truven was a great gig when they were part of Thomson Reuters. I understand the VC's pushed everything to the limit and then handed the husk over to IBM for a handy profit.
