Does IBM even attract young talent? IBM seems like a place where the youngest age of a full-time employee is 35.

The only difference between younger IBMers and older IBMers is this: the younger ones have more options when they get RA'd.
The add some with the early professionals program. Some of those are also RA'd. And some will look for a more happening engagement after a year or 2.
I would say there are a lot of young people working at IBM. Lots of them are there to be laid off in the same proportion as the old folks so that IBM can say they don’t discrimate about age.
