What’s happening on June 3rd in Las Vegas?

Why are the contractors being let go? What’s happening in June? Is Las Vegas next in line?

A VP actually said on a call employee morale/satisfaction is down so we're going to add a couple managers to help that...huh...more micro-managing. We need more Indians not Chiefs. Management has obviously failed to be successful on the consumer side, they mostly stay and the little guy goes. We are not allowed to voice complaints, actually banned from it or punished, so the higher ups are happily thinking management is doing such a great job and processes are improvements, but actually mostly not. We just don't see the big picture sometimes, which is moving jobs overseas or to lower paying states or contractors. Who do businesses think will consume their products if good paying jobs continue to dwindle. How many of the layed off employees took themselves and a few friends and relatives to a competitor.

Very quiet and slow in Vegas, nothing happening here yet. Our union says things are good and no layoffs are coming.

On another post it said only 10-15 people under one highly paid supervisor. There seems to be a lot of that here in Vegas.

Not sure what is going on. Some of the supervisors started moving around and cross training. The consensus is there are too many supervisors, but then they go and hire a new supervisor after a few recently took packages. Business must be doing really good in Vegas.

Business has slowed down. Too many I/R techs with time on their hands, especially cable techs. Wouldn't be surprised with something happening in Vegas.
