One of the side effects of the layoffs in our area is one they may have hoped for, or didn't see coming. The kids (under 30 educated/smart) are all looking for other jobs. The whole CST group is young with the exception of one guy. Novody out of the dozen or somhas more than 5 years. They were talking among themselves this morning about the fact they came here because theybthiught it was stable, but now they all want out. They were saying they couldn't share potential jobs among each other because they don't want to all apply and fight for the same job. It looks like these guys all want out. Similar feelings in the CO too. Moral here at an all time low and on top of that, the new MAX system s---s so bad it has to be helping drive away the few customers we have left.

Sorry but that is not so much the case here, you might be surprised by it but lots of network engineers from the FL3 side have been with the company for many many years and yes we are seeing the layoffs as well, we were/are a much smaller portion of the combined company though. I would agree morale is pretty low at this point, it maybe a while before the dust settles, might feel a little safer after the year anniversary of the merger passes
The Level 3 way is just to bring in a bunch of uneducated workers with no background at all and force 20 year employees to teach them what they know.
CTL will be happy for all of those workers to leave without a package.
