Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Congratulations - We Figured It Out First

Looks like the press is just catching on to what we figured out weeks ago. To all the naysayers that claim this site is nothing but falsehoods and fake news, looks like you are absolutely wrong! Thanks to all of the people who took the time to post the stealth closings taking place!

@Tgvt12P-pci I am also glad this site so much stuff that I didn't know about I learned it here. From early firings to changes which makes everything so much interesting knowing and just awaring yourself of the issues. When I told my co workers about this past January that some huge firings were going to happened he didn't believe me. Heard it here first and it happened.

I am glad we have people here that actually are real and have warned people in advance of what is going on. As you mentioned the SM and managers will sugar coat anything they say, but wont tell you what really is going on.

That's what I see as the point and the beauty of this site. Pooling of knowledge and observations. When it's done on here, it's very helpful and informative. It is why I read here. I have learned so much in advance that my sneaky SM either didn't know or wouldn't share.

This will leave a total store count of what, about 850?

I wish businessinsider was clearer about their article updates. That's the same link/list that had 24 stores on it last month that are closing in July, and there's now 16 additions to their list (and 1 Kmart mistakenly listed twice) that are mostly closing in August, but they're all mixed in instead of separated by date. Many, but not all, of the new additions have been posted about here already.
