Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Details of today's phone calls

Can we please have somebody share what was said during this morning's call after it takes place?

I'm so nervous about the possible rumored changes that I barely managed to sleep at all.

I would be really grateful if somebody would confirm or deny if and what of it is true to put me out of my misery.

Still no info, still no raise. The "people" posting about substantial raises are full of s**t

" If you don’t believe it I am sorry you are that delusional. You’ll see soon enough."

I wish you were right, and I wish I was wrong... I'd f---ing high five you if that were the case.

I'm the guy who didn't believe it. I am a shift supervisor and have been one for nearly a year. I am being paid $11, just like the cashier. There was no regional conference call in my region, we didn't even have a conference call this week according to my Ops manager. I am in the region including Arkansas and Missouri. I just don't see them handing me an extra $3/hr out of the kindness of their hearts, especially in "the heartland" where exploitation of the working poor is gospel.

The $14 number is probably realistic in markets that were historically higher. New York City, LA, etc. will probably pay more than the national minimum. Don't expect exact numbers posted online but you should see shifts and pharmacy techs go above $11. It could be $11 cashier, $12 tech/shift in lower markets.

Conference call on Friday didn't give specifics, but our DL made it clear on meeting before the call that CVS wanted to pay more to recruit better talent, especially in pharmacy. We have another call Monday to go over more details and they're pushing for us to tell colleagues the good things CVS is doing in order to do better with the colleague engagement surveys.

My only issue is no mention of moving redline cause in a year or two everybody will make same amount and have same issue

Also you know it will be paid by lowering hours. So instead of speading it will turn into a paycut when they get 30 hrs instead of 40 hrs

The poster who doesn’t believe it , was the individual who left the company because he was redlined. Sorry Buddy you just lost on a big Raise! Move On

For the poster who doesn’t think there is a shred of truth in this...

$12 for clerks $14 for supervisors. Plus 2% for each FULL year with the company up to an 8 year cap. That is fact from from a regional conference call that 140 managers were on Friday afternoon. If you don’t believe it I am sorry you are that delusional. You’ll see soon enough.

Are any of you that are getting a raise working in a union store?

So some of you were told during the calls that there were going to be raises? I don't believe for a second that this $14 stuff posted on here has a shred of truth to it.

Willing to bet that we're setting up our teams to run the stores without an SM. Just a guess...

Waste of time call. ‘Rah rah’ for Cvs For doing what they have been ignoring for too long.

You can’t starve someone than expect a pat on the back when you finally decide to give them water.

Honestly its great the lower levels are getting some raises. This will be a major help to reduce the tech turnover that has plagued this company for years. However, as someone that has been redlined as a SM for 4 years, it would have been nice to see some something other then $500 lump sums every year.
