Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Regrets : I’ve had a few

I get it . Business is Business. But why would you deplete your staff to the point of no return ? Ever walk into a store to buy something and no one is there to assist you , so you simply leave the item on the counter , or nearby rack , and just Leave . Oh , you save on personnel wages and the depleted cost of carrying staff , but you are loosing in the sales . The bottom line . You are missing the point DXC . It’s not about cost cutting . It’s about being able to be there to improve upon the service . Thusly increasing the return satisfied customer. As for now , you are left with a minimum of floor staff that don’t even know how to return the discarded stock from the ignored client , back to its original place . But what do I know about customer satisfaction. I’ve only been working in the business for over 30 years .

But stocks are up ... meanwhile “ cleanup in aisle 7”

I had no regrets being WFR'd by ML's clueless cronies. My colleagues that remain at DXC are rapidly descending into a state of depression. If the end is near then they say bring it on.

I'm not just randomly bashing Mikey when I say that he doesn't actually have a clue how to run a business neither does he actually care.

Maybe at one point he was from an IT background but he's moved on - he is a financial engineering expert now since his "excellent" results at Misys.

And that's all he cares about,

It wouldn't matter if DXC was a car maker or a fruit grower to him - its not important. Its just about financial manipulation and asset stripping.

There is no future, because its all just lies. Ex-CSC'ers no this only too well, we've been in this sorry mess ever since Mikey showed up.

Sure CSC was run by some right clowns prior to that, but they always at least tried to sell IT services to customers. If it wasn't for the great NHS disaster then we'd not have DXC and not have Mikey either. Which would be nice.

Unfortunately, they have no choice, they don't have the right leadership team; are clueless and seem incapable of finding the right leadership team and keeping them for more than five minutes Nearly all of the original HPE leads have all but left as they could see the writing was on the wall. They simply do not know what they are doing. Even the VP's secretly discuss the mess the company is in - I.e the mess they don't discuss with you, obviously.

Despite all those specialised companies and startups they bought, where is the actual organic growth? So, they cut into the bone and muscle to reduce costs. They know clients will leave and they hope they are the run offs of old legacy and non-profitable clients, but they are also p.i.ssing off the large ones too when they remove key staff amid key project delivery. Half of which is deliberate moves by managers to try and get the clients to raise objections, but does no good.

When I worked their I got tired of all those emails that came out after big staff purges urging the rest of us to keep the client focus and to work to assure the client it was business as usual despite their best DXC people having been fired on their services. I was party to quite a few angry client calls and you, like a fool, trying to explain how we need to rebalance our focus and see how we can support the client from the wider team when you knew you had **** all to play with!

If the quality keeps going down, how do they keep clients?
