Sadly more WFR's happening in the US as you read this. I counted 6 humans with families that I am aware of.
DXC cutting the muscle and bone now. A sign of a very sick company and it appears will not recover from these sort of cuts.

Well the WFR's are still going on in the US lost three more people today. I find it ironic that they tell us to go into the office so we can collaborate with our co-workers but there are no co-workers left.
Guess the person who spoke "US team Global Delivery Organization", spoke too soon. Hope I am not next, need to work a more years before I am ready financially to retire. If I was financially ready, I'd leave in a second.
I used to love doing what I do, but now I hate it. But so far can't find anything else for what I get paid in my local area and I will not travel or take on support where I have to be on call.

The real money has already left the building (Meg, Nef,...) so its a bit of tidying up pre nuptials. Only the basilisks left standing .
Why would you be immune from layoff because you have a family? We all have families, or someone dependant of us being employed. If not, we have ourselves to feed. Should not even be part of the factor in thinking who needs jobs more. It should be based on ability, willingness and ethic. My two cents.
It is a cycle. For weeks our location was immune from the WFR flu bug. Then this week and last about 10 of my peers caught the bug and are no longer with DXC.

Well no one from my US team Global Delivery Organization has been WFR this week
Not only US, Mexico is being affected by the WFR wave as well by the Thursday rule, many people getting the "WFR Memo" or manager call on Thursday morning notifying next day is their last.

I am leaving too. Given my notice. But I see others leaving as well. More and more managers and top experts are leaving by choice for better. I sm sorry for those remaining because they will just have to do even more work. Thus company is a freaking joke. :-/
