Thread regarding Kemper Insurance layoffs

CSAA Insurance layoffs 2018

Auto field staff to be reduced 50% minimum. Half this year and half next at the latest. Primarily in California.

Not a rumor. This has already been decided by CSAA. First announcement very soon, but no later than 8/1/18, likely much sooner.

Just a heads up for everyone.

100% woke company. DEI and ESG are the top goals. Sales and customer service suffer.

No profit in sight but management believes it's another great year as the company funds every far left cause they can find...

Result= terrible for employees with constant layoffs and poor pay and working conditions. Customer complaints about poor service continue to rise.

Tomorrow Sep 9 2024 , hundreds of dedicated FTEs in IT will face layoffs due to the current financial difficulties at CSAA IG. These issues are not a result of the company’s inability to generate new policies but are instead attributed to non-catastrophic losses and poor leadership decisions. The individuals at the grassroots level, who work tirelessly to execute the vision set by leadership, are not responsible for these decisions. Yet, they are often the first to be let go in tough times.

Until the Board of Directors changes this mindset and starts holding Directors and VPs accountable, we will end up with layoffs every three months. While layoffs may provide a short-term solution to financial problems, they also erode company culture and employee trust. Customers are astute and recognize layoffs as a signal of organizational failure, which may affect their perception of the company and potentially impact premium costs. The cycle of blame and sacrifice only serves to damage the company’s reputation and long-term stability. Immediate, decisive action from the Board is needed to halt this detrimental pattern and restore both internal morale and external confidence.

This site is old but CSAA is consistent. Layoffs have already started for 2024!

Tentative plan is 138-155 more layoffs in 4th quarter. Another collosal money losing year!

CSAA is 100% woke and ESG is the primary goal.... millions of dollars in losses every year.

Worst management in the insurance industry.

HR reps are paid to post fake, false, reviews on multiple websites every day. Helps with recruiting but employees know better. Record employee turnover. Customers quitting. Nobody cares at CSAA.

CSAA is again laying off people. Although they have huge numbers of employees quitting, the rapid decline in customers is even more.

Management calls this a success, more record bonuses for management.

Almost 200 let go last week alone! A lot more to come. At least everyone knows now, no more keeping secrets about the layoffs. Same old AAA, another year, more layoffs.

Several more let go last month. Increasing turnover is lessening the number being let go. Another success that can be celebrated at CSAA.

Yikes. Sounds bad but really just same old AAA. Nothing really ever changes there. More layoffs are the norm.

I hear the current restructuring has paused the layoffs for now due to the current CSAA self induced chaos. Amazing to watch the same mistakes repeated over and over.

The layoffs are coming soon. I don't think they have a date set to announce it yet.

HR has been notified, but managers were not given a date. They are to prepare only at this time.

All field staff in California are being asked today if they will move. No other details known regarding that.

Much speculation follows as most of are now aware of the pending layoffs.

OMG. Many of us, unknown how far this went, were just told to not speculate nor post information online about layoffs. Too many leaks it seems.

Everyone, please try to comply with this. Secrecy is very important at CSAA.

Layoffs = progress at CSAA.

If any insurance company has a layoff, CSAA always joins in to have some too. The first me too company.
