When you’re making both of 250k as an engineer, even 5k isn’t motivational. All things considered this program is pretty much not going to help.
Boring
HR in QCOM needs to be annihilated. They should fire 50% of them and cut the salary of the remaining by 30%. And they should also be excluded from RSU and bonuses in general. If you do not like it, get the f--- out. We engineers do not need you and we despise you with a lot of gusto.
You have to be nominated by a VP or above and HR must approve. You get cash value up to a certain amount: so they say go on a trip and we will reimburse up to x amount. You also get taxed on it. So the exotic locales are not the awards it’s just the money. If you don’t use it all you lose it.
Most SQ are $500. Now get back to work
Give me the cash, not a limited selection of door prizes...
Where do these awards get announced? So much secrecy
