I heard that the call center in Springfield, MO is hiring reps in September. This is kind of ironic with all this talk about lay offs. This gives me hope that maybe others will hire as well. There had been so much etime, it was getting worrisome that the end was near.

Why wasting time training? Is expensive in every way
So, AT&T hires new pension-less employees and no longer needs expensive union workers with higher seniority pay. If this a TW center, why not train the current employees?
As part of the merger "No Restrictions Clause" why would they hire you? They have a pool of offshored call centers already around the world in a operations. #wakeUp
AT tax breaks and new money coming in will not make them keep jobs that are not needed just as declining profits will not make them lose people that are.
I really wonder if some of you folks on this board know how business works even at the most basic level.
