Just curious if anyone has any updates?

No one wants the run down retail space of an old sears or kmart. there are plenty of more stores that have gone out of business i.e. toys r us, bon ton, etc that they could buy without the expense of the clean up and fix up. And they can wait for BK which is coming soon and get the stores for a lot less.
Haven't seen any updates on that whole thing (Kenmore or any of the other stuff he was offering to buy). Also still no updates on the fishily-handled real estate auction of 16 stores that, despite claiming to the media that they had plenty of interested bidders, moved the end date several times and then yanked all the auction pages for it before the last-stated end date. That was over a month ago. A couple local newspapers since then have tried asking Sears and the real estate auction company what happened, but haven't gotten past "no comment" yet.
