One thing is for sure, if this boat survives the next two years, it will need a new name for sure. What will it be? Please, NOTHING to do with ice...
At this point you may as well guess based on what artwork your Titanic has. If the artwork has been replaced with the new logo in your office, then that may be a sign that office will stay open. Oh wait no, the old artwork was better, we should put that back up because times were FAR BETTER under the old logo. So the new stuff actually means very bad times ahead then, doesn't it? I'm soooo confused now....
Anyway, I guess there is a 50 percent chance you will be canned, that is the best way to put it....
Everyone might want to get their resume up to date and get it out there before the next big hit, because you have to know, it is coming. To have a retreat amid all the cuts and downsizing is a bit disrespectful to those impacted, did they get to go to the retreat? If not, should have been a warning sign, or is the tribe the "safe" bet?
Anyone heard anything about the Canadian office in Richmond, BC? With Erkan leaving and Rod taking over, I am worried we will get the same email as the software and analytics team got.
Please be more specific, re: Richmond reference. There are multiple CHC locations in cities, that go by the name, "Richmond" (e.g. Virginia, USA; England; Kentucky, USA)
I agree that it was inappropriate to plan the Asheville trip, in the midst of all the downsizing.
RelayHealth has already been decimated since CHC took over. Hard to believe more to come. Are they just going to close that entire division? Just waiting until existing contracts are honored? It sure seems like it.
Anyone have any insight into what is happening with Richmond based IWS Change Healthcare?
about 1/3 of Relay Health was part of this last RIF. Round 4 of CHC axe will fall again in September. Tribe owner Tina how much did that services retreat for 90 at the resort in Ashville cost. Rumor has it the cost of that retreat was over $200K. How many staff could have been saved; ever hear of webinars? Where is management oversight for wasteful spending.
What did these locations do?
I was one of the people laid off. Many of us, including myself, have received no information from HR about our severance. We were told "24 hours" from 1 PM on Friday, but have received nothing yet.
I heard 1.5 weeks of pay per year with MCK/CHC. Verified from a 3rd party.
Anyone know what kind of package those affected got?
What a terrible situation for all impacted. Best of luck in finding new opportunities. There are successful and growing companies out there looking for great people like you.
When Vancouver, BC will be affected?
Dear Software & Analytics Team Members:
As we focus on delivery of Change Healthcare’s long-term strategy, it’s important that we routinely review our organizational structure and solution portfolio, identifying key differentiators and those areas where we can deliver greatest value to our customers and achieve our long-term growth goals. A recent example was the transition of the Clinical Network team to the Software & Analytics organization, bringing together our data acquisition, aggregation, analytics, and advisory services capabilities and positioning us to fully leverage the capabilities and strengths of each to better serve our customers, both today and in the future.
Since coming together, our leadership team has worked collaboratively to review our solution portfolio and the emerging market, ensuring we are investing in the right areas to meet our customers’ current and evolving needs, and in May we shared an organizational update as an outcome of that evaluation. As the teams have come together and compared roadmaps and strategies, we are adjusting investments and resource allocation in multiple areas. By refining our market offerings, shifting investments to areas with the highest growth potential, and balancing investments in solutions where the growth potential is not as strong, we are creating a portfolio that drives better outcomes for our customers and accelerates our strategy.
This process did result in the elimination of some positions in Sales, Support, Operations, and R&D. These decisions were difficult, and I encourage you to offer your support to those who were impacted. Additionally, in our continued efforts to align our real estate footprint with the needs of the organization, today we are also announcing the closure of the Waltham, MA and Westminster, CO offices, which will close on 7/27 and 8/31, respectively. Further information on these offices will be forthcoming, yet overall, most team members in the Waltham, MA office will transition to work from our Newton, MA office, and some may elect to work from home. Our Westminster team members will also be offered the opportunity to work from home.
Our customers rely on us to deliver market-leading solutions and provide exceptional service. Though difficult, these changes will enable us to maintain the solutions our customers value and rely on, while also investing in the solutions they need to drive their future successes – and our future growth. These decisions also accelerate the enablement of value-based care for our customers and better-enable us to invest in the Intelligent Healthcare Platform (IHP), our approach to bridge disparate technologies and unify our portfolio, optimize the user experience, provide better access to data, and unlock deeper analysis and insight.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to inspire a better healthcare system, and for all that you do each and every day.
Rod
