Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

SWN Managers and HR Leadership

First time poster

The SWN managers are way too talented to let go of. Besides, who’s going to make out in the stairwells if they get cut? Makes you really question the judgement of the higher ups that put those managers in place.

Can the stairwells be rented by the hour or do you have to rent them for the whole day?

Such managers mentioned above keeping their jobs really speaks volumes about SWN’s HR department.

I thought he was the HSER VP? Was he found not capable or competent of handling the R? Wouldn’t surprise me. No Interpersonal skills, no charisma, not a leader.

Hmmm...so the “HSE VP” that has no clue about HSE and lacks even the most basic interpersonal skills is still standing. Backed by three ladies that create pretty stats and graphics but are equally clueless.

While real HSE professionals are sent to the house. Shame on Way.

JO6 Post Layoff Checklist

1)Have a PhD lapdog under my desk (like it when he licks my feet) - check

2)Thinned AR staff cuz they need Walmart greeters in Conway - check

3)Kept non needle movers in AR - check

4)Two “under qualified” leaders in NE - check and check

5)Kept eye candy professionals - check

6)Still have my job even though I have not moved the needle since Jan 16 - check

7)Need to find more ways to foolishly spend even more cash like relo staff and then allow them to still live in home state (see 1&4)-check

8)Continue to hone my 80s mgmt style- check

9)Pretend that I know what I am doing as a “leader” -check

All good here Mr Way. Can I polish our rings some more? Or is the experiment over?

Who are these hr managers? Sounds like kissing favorites got to keep their jobs. Doesn't surprise me! Swn has become a low class act in all they do.
