Don’t give up yet Windstreamer’s. I truly don’t thinks it’s that bad although their will be layoffs in certain departments because the business is changing at a fast pace.

To quote a former employee from a few mergers ago " You can rearrange the chairs on the deck of the Titanic but it doesn't change the outcome of the end." There won't be a sequel for this movie.

Tony has lost the ship and along with it the morale of most of the staff employees. I can't agree more with seasoned employees just giving up in frustration. Soo many great people are leaving on their own, staff retention is starting to become an issue again. In a growing economy we cannot afford the rising salaries of competitors to keep people on board.

Restructure management... I mean it's not that hard start folding groups together pushing down layers. Try for a total reduction of management of 40%. It's not just about the cost savings the culture would greatly improve. Upper management directions would get followed and not bastardized to fit some jacka$$ staff manager or directors or worse a random consultant/principal goals to better themselves as they desperately try to climb a ladder that doesnt exist. We need leadership. What we have now is jacka$$ery, it a damn w@ckoff festival TT and your the ring leader rein them in.

I have seen over the last 3 months people who used to really care just flat give up. People who are the Golden gooses just have flat stop caring. People who know their stuff, people willing to stay because they feel the ownership and pride in what they have accomplished. When you have lost these people you have lost your workforce no additional VPs can fix this. A stream article can't fix this. I think honestly we have a reached the point of no return anything from here on is too little too late.
