Anyone have insight on how the company is determining which areas will have market CBDMs vs. just CBDMs vs. just leaving the position open from when they’ve forced out the ones who didn’t meet the ridiculous annual goal? Seems like a great way to sink the ship faster - fire your sales people who are actually bringing in money!

Do any of you work for the company? I’m still a CBDM on the West coast I still have my job because I’ve made all my numbers. Those who have missed their numbers have been let go, as recently as May 1st. There are two remaining markets who do not have MBDMs in the state I work in, though both were recently posted on the website. They are slowly firing all the CBDMs with the intent of having MBDMs in every area. The MBDMs are to increase sales among the assigned territory, though it is the stores responsibility to process the quotes, orders, shipping/receiving. They are given substantial goals. That’s why there was the big push to have stores handle mostly everything on the inside - they knew they were moving to this role.
Just quit
I'm going to start calling you "Just Quit." I wish that guy who said he knows you would come back on here and drop a hint. I'd love to visit YOUR store!
@TOfASUW-5hxx. You literally have no idea of what you speak. Just wait and see. You are going to feel so stupid. Just quit.
That may be the case for certain large markets but there's no "consolidation" going on in small markets. Stores without CBDMs have Institutional sales processed by the remaining members of the management team. That's what's happening and what has been happening for months. As CBDMs get axed, it falls on the MOD.
If you have some great info about this magical Market CBDM that's going to sweep in and take care of all these accounts, spill it. Otherwise, stop gaslighting.
@TOfASUW-4zmi. More misinformation.....smaller markets are being consolidated....creating market based positions....some of the CBDMs will have bigger areas.
They are letting them go. In smaller markets, the remaining managers take care of it (poorly).
People think....the CBDM program is worth a couple hundred million dollars of revenue...know your facts before you speak...will the company simply abandon this program? Uniformed idiots galore on this page.
My guess is they are planning on letting go of most of their CBDM's, and just giving the regular managers their duties. Like the managers don't have enough to do already.
@TOfASUW-bvh Paranoid much?
No need to be a jerk. Company is probably MUM about, yet letting fired CBDMs know what’s up.
Seems to me you should ask someone in the Company who knows rather than a bunch of rando-anonymous people.....
