Place your bets

Who is the next exec that gets walked? This $hit will definitely turn into a witch hunt and house cleaning.

Bringing back Kirk Skaugen would be good for Intel

Elop a good solution ? No way. His decision of using Windows operating system for Nokia Smart phones killed the company. I still remember his 'burning platform' memo.

From Wikipedia - "He is best known for his ill-fated tenure as Nokia CEO from 2010 to 2014,"

elevated ??

The original commentor has very good point. BK (like many others, we are just humans) has

  1. "removed" his competitors

  2. Favored some persona

Good/bad example from Nokia. When great Ollila retired HE was allowed to select next one. He took Kallasvuo who was great in his current role as a 2nd man but not so as selling CEO (especially when Apple has SJ).

(That is why Me Elop seemed to be good solution)

Mr Elop is said to be free. He has excellent history of changing course of companies.

Since there was this cover up by the hypocrit, BoD needs to investigate all execs elevated by BK. Obviously, many execs not doing their jobs and would rather have the real working men and women of Intel dismissed while they disappear and attend their junkets. Utterly ridiculous what this company has become under such corrupt leadership.
