Thread regarding Sears layoffs

If your store can hire a 2nd softline manager (not Asm)

Then somewhere in the budget there had to be money for a couple of printer batteries!

It’s getting rediculous that the store manager can’t get employees the needed equipment to complete your tasks

They can sure purchase monster drinks for Black Friday or the x large sharpie magic markers for handwritten signs

Come on! A couple of batteries and a quad charger can be bought for $200.... a business expense

Wonder if it would help to write Eddie L a letter, send it return receipt requested, label it personal and confidential, advising of store level struggles with equipment!

How many stores that have been closed we’re still using the original equipment? Where did their equipment go after they closed?

Who at store level is responsible to get the equipment accessories we need?

We put dates on our batteries so we know when they came in. The newest date we have is 07/10. Ten years ago!!! They dont hold a charge for more than 20 minutes or dont charge at all.

We have plenty of batteries too! Just not ones that will hold a charge

Out of 20 batteries we have, only 1 will hold a charge and will print but the bar codes do not scan

It is the Operations Managers responsibility to order the equipment. If you don't have an operations manager ....

Ours never really did too much though anyway. We were always out of paper, name tags, everything.

Why not ask your store manager about the battery? We have plenty.
