"sorry dude to burst your miserable bubble - but I have worked at a few (probably 4) pretty well run and global organisations and none come close to the new world of Dell EMC."

Must have been some really great positions if you can't even remember how many there were! I'm currently in a position @ my fourth global org and first post Dell and I have to say I agree with you. None of the others even come close to the micromanagement and employee abuse I experienced in my 3rd and final position in the 'new world' @Dell. I have the same job title @ my new gig, but better and less expensive benefits along with a better work life balance. People actually like working here, the work environment and culture are the polar opposite of what was @ labor camp Dell EMC.

in a role for 5 years in insert anywhere but India*. Dell creates that same role in India. Overlaps. Layoff role not in India. Effectively cut cost. MSD claps.

"new world of Dell EMC. Yes, overlap will suffer, but this is slowing. Dell EMC is crushing the market now. And our customers will be the ones who will benefitting massively... Sayōnara M-F'er"

You say Overlap is slowing but from where I sit I see all the people being let go, and their jobs being sent to India for the cheaper employees. Most of the cuts are in North America with the jobs being eliminated here because Dell does this over and over to cut payroll. The customers are starting to see that the experienced people are no longer doing the work since the buyout and inexperienced people are left without the experienced people to mentor the younger workers.

@TJpfB29-1fcv - be patient, they always take good people back when the pack gets re-shuffled. Work your network and be clear about what you want to do and where you will add value.

I liked working at Dell. I wish I would not have been laid off. Wishing all that remain the best.

Over 20 years at Dell and happier than ever. Do your job, if you don’t like it, then leave. You probably won’t be missed.

Some drink the cool aid as they have never been to a really well run and employee friendly company. Accept being average and stay at Dell. d

As they say - too busy working to pay much attention to the moaning on this site. If you don't like it, get out, but once you do, watch whilst Dell and co blitz the market...
