Centurylink Las Vegas Engineering laid off numerous OSP Engineers recently, Now New job opening for OSP engineering. What with that??

Centurylink just laid off like 7-10 OSP Engineers in Las Vegas. Guess What, New job listing on INDEED.. For an OSP Engineer in Las Vegas.. Whats with that. Why were all those Engineers laid off.. Probably cause they were long term employees and paid high salary. So they want younger Employees they can hire cheaper.

So lay off the employees and wait like less than 2 weeks and post a new job for replacement.

The contractor actually sent the OSP engineers emails offering them jobs the day before they got laid off here. Oops. Must have jumped the gun. Nobody could figure it out......till the next day.

After the takeover all cut throat, anything to throw a coworker under the bus. My advise cover your a--, keep your mouth shut during the constant being screamed at. Keep your numbers up, projects will not count, regardless of what they are. "

They are doing that with technician jobs as well in major cities....Denver, Phoenix, Portland, SLC and so on...

Well I would say Centurylink definitely didn't wait very long in trying to refill their position.
