I don't think anyone was claiming they didn't have time to look for other work. It's true that if people don't like their job, they can leave...but that doesn't mean we can speculate about future layoffs and related topics. Also, it's totally possible to think Enbridge and it's leaders are sh--ty people and still like your job. It's a huge company and thankfully many of us are quite removed from Corporate other than the 35 emails about b---s--- we get every day.
Whoever said it’s all about intimidation is correct.
The employees who are most accepting of being bullied are the ones who are targeted for layoff.
I will continue to troll and monitor this site, while on company time, for as long as I like. I I don’t need to be looking for work; I get a nice paycheck here to NOT work.
Only those with the deer in the headlights look on their face are being laid off... it had nothing to do with business, it is all about intimidation.
the better advise is to wait and walk out with a package. In the meantime keep trolling this site and other sites and don’t work hard.
