Does this mean that people who are getting laid off have already been notified? Or am i missing something?
Yes, at Hitachi Vantara you are (usually) given a few months on payroll after being laid off (typically in addition to a severance). As a consequence, there is a delay in California WARN notices. So although someone was laid off in April, it would not post as part of a WARN notice until June (again depending on how long they are kept on payroll).
