I took a package. They actually paid me to stop working at the circus. I mean you gonna pay me to leave a company that in the field i was in was bad! Yes please and thank you, because I was job searching and leaving anyway. CenturyLink paid me over 30k and got a better career and they actually care about residential customers and no lawsuits against them. No more wondering wtf is going on week to week....

I started a contractor company for verizon and pay is much better. Screw Qwest. Wish I would've done sooner make 5 times so far yearly.

The unifiying principles are gone. We are a global networking company, what does that mean for local service. Wholesale it off to somebody foolish enough to buy it. We are all left at the mercy of the almighty $
We get $1100 when my husband gets axed. We live in a city that really doesn't have opportunity or decent pay so we are looking at losing our house, etc. I don't even know where he should turn at this point. Centurylink offered classes for fiber which would have been amazing but now they are canceling them because not enough people enrolled. We're screwed, our kids, our home, I really am having a hard time not hating this company with all my being.
Take it, if u are not protected there is a good possibility you will be axed. You would regret it later. Too much uncertainty at the link.

Congrats. I have an offer from another company with one more day to accept or decline. Torn on what to do because no package offer here. A lot of time invested in centurystink. Hate to leave but wouldn't miss the BS and don't want the 10 minute cardboard box - Uber treatment. A package would make it a no brainer.
