I used to work at corporate - the last 4 years I got treated pretty badly and moved on. Now I buy from ABT. Someone asked on Facebook for a recommendation for where to get appliances and I mentioned ABT. That post got more likes than any other I have posted.

Their most loyal workers are the key for the stores to make some extra $$$. No more also my last appliance I purchased it from Lowes, I don't support the way the company has treated me and many other associates.
I am a former employee of over 10 years. Eighteen months ago they just stopped giving me hours, no layoff or explanation. We bought a new washer and dryer last week....at LOWE'S
The way I was treated by SHLD after 12 years of loyal, dedicated service, I'll never set foot in a sears store again, and I'm sure I am not alone.
Do they still have those and WHY?
@T3NMcWS-fsu You are 100% correct. Back in the day the employees and their families and friends were the best customers. No more. What a sad commentary on the current and future state of affairs at Sears.
There are no friends and family. They’ve layed everyone off. All the loyal employees that actually spent their paychecks at Sears are gone. Their employees were their best customers.
Hmmmmm. I never thought about Zillow. Guess I'll be flooding new home owners with flyer from now on. Send out a billion invites and get 2 to come in.
Ours was little slow sales were down like 8 percent vs last year. Every year they are more down I was surprised though I expected to be 50 percent down, but somehow we didn't do as bad as I thought.
The same at our store. It used to be everybody worked Friends and Family in our store but now they just schedule like a regular Sunday.
The usual. Dead, dead dead. Spent time a few days before driving around town to hand out flyers. Looked up new home sales on Zillow and mailed out flyers. It's the same old dog and pony show every single time. I could remember when F&F actually meant something and it was busy and exciting.
I miss the times when it was standing room on!y and everywhere you looked there were customers. The commissions were swell, too. Now I can see why everyone moans and groans about working all day for F&F...you aren't going to make anything when you are standing around waiting for customers to come in, if they come in at all.
