I heard that Cengage is planning on buying Pearson out next year. With the new program they have we at Pearson do not stand a chance.
Where exactly did you hear this? Is there any actual truth behind this or is this just another runaway rumor? Any additional info would be appreciated.
Pearson has apparently turned down two private equity bids. Purchase by Cengahe would probably run into regulatory problems.
Hysterical. Cengage is a disaster and a joke. Sorry you are having trouble at Pearson right now but let's not get carried away.

Not sure about Cengage buying Pearson out- I am sure that is a hyped rumor. However, from reading these posts and comments, it sounds like Pearson is imploding. Now... which company is running the clown show?
