Honeywell Post 2000 Pension Plan and Spinout

Does anyone have any info regarding the disposition/disbursement of our funds in the post 2000 pension fund accounts? (persons hired during 2000 and later).

There has been adequate information about the 401K move to Fidelity, but I have heard or seen nothing regarding the pension fund.

I called Honeywell One Stop last week. The individual I spoke with did not know about the Spinoff and was unable to help me. I had to give him a brief update regarding the Spin. What I did get from him was I needed to give ~2-3 months advance notice before I wanted to start receiving funds. Personally, I don't want to receive monthly checks, I want a cash out and roll into an IRA.

After that call, I emailed my HR Generalist. Still waiting for an answer but it has only been a couple of days. Will wait a bit longer.

Mine just went active this afternoon. I had to call because I wasn't seeing anything. Turns out there was a linkage problem due to different usernames on Voya site vs Fidelity site.

The communications did not say the blackout would end on April 8. It said:

The blackout period is expected to end during the week of April 8. You will be notified and at

that time will have full access to your account at Fidelity.

I have not received any notification yet .

Not sure if anyone else has the same issue, but when I first log into my Fidelity account,, the HONEYWELL 401(K) PLAN does not show a value. When I click on the plan text, the window refreshes and the value is there.

Without getting too far into this, by law, what we accrued and are eligible for cannot be taken away from us. The ERISA and IRS govern the monthly versus the minimum lump sum payment equivalents that have been accrued. Unless the spinoffs are immediately in financial distress, they have to maintain this for their employees. But, absent any other factors, any company including Honeywell and its spinoffs can eliminate pension rights going forward from some specified date.

I am the original poster. Found an interesting statement in a document in HR Direct (Pensions). (RetirementEarningPlanSPD.pdf at the bottom of page 2) I probably should have looked there sooner.

It states: The Company intends to continue the Plan. However, it reserves the right to modify, change, revise, amend or terminate the Plan at any time, for any reason.

I consider this as a license for Honeywell to screw us.
