Rob is a company man with a union title. Don't believe a word he says. Only telling you want the company wants you to hear.

They treated the floor like crap for 2 years, pushed and made big deals about petty crap.
They also get rip of all their good engineers, and white collar staff that makes good money for the knowledge they hold. Well they are gone too.
Now hourly is on the chopping block. Hey Lay then off and expect them to be available when GE calls a person with less wages, crap healthcare, and no pension. I am sure they won’t be back. If they were smart enough they wouldn’t.
Hang on for a wild ride!
Big layoffs in May there will be 350 hourly heads are getting cut at the 301. There is no work globally it is going to be bad.
Rob said no permanent layoffs. I think he knows more then u idiots that post big layoff next month.
I am hearing a layoff in May for sure for hourly.
I’m just wondering how many and in what areas.
200 hourly at Alstom. Long live Alstom
200 hourly sticking around.
Look, I've been at the GE site for over 22 yes, I know alot of high level guys upstairs, at least 175 are out the door. I feel bad for guys w less the 7yrs service. Good luck to all the Union brothers. It's going to be a rough ride.
It must be fake news because the layoff announcement didn't happen 30 seconds after the original post. Keep telling yourself that you have lifetime employment at 273. I would love to see a plant closing just to know the D-rates will take a 50% pay cut outside of GE.
200 hourly going
An easy 200 are going bye bye
It's only been 4 days since you posted "Big announcement for upstate ny GE Power", https://www.thelayoff.com/t/SpNPXrs , and nothing happened. Nothing. Did you think people forgot?
