401k changed to Fidelity

So the 401k plan changed from Voya to Fidelity over the weekend. I was expecting a smooth transition and being able to make transactions this week but logging into the Fidelity site and trying to access my account info says temporary unavailable. Called Onestop and they said all transaction will be unavailable until next week. So if Hon continues to go down you can’t move the stock until April 8th. My fault - should have known Hon would screw up this transition.

Mine was available Sunday night. The amount looked like I would have expected.

Can someone post the new Fidelity link? The one I have does not work. I made a copy of the last Voya statement and with the volatile market during the transition, I want to confirm my account balance.

"...the week of April 8..."

What part of the letter made you think it would be available on Sunday April 8? Comprehend much?

My wife's 401K info is available today. Mine is not...if yours isn't either, tough. If this is your biggest worry, then you haven't planned well enough, and no amount of access is going to make your retirement easy.

I think Fidelity has said at some point during the week of April the 8th. Maybe. If they get around to it.

SNAFU we should be able to see our 401k status april 8th according to the literature. here's all you get "We're sorry, but this information is temporarily unavailable."

Given the recent market volatility, I parked a lot of money in short term cash fund before the blackout period began. I'd really like to know why this change was necessary, there's no clear advantage to Fidelity that I can see.

@SvPLPrR "My fault - should have My fault - should have read the multiple emails and written notifications I received about this transition."

There, fixed it for you.

Yes, anyone paying attention knew we would be without access to our money for that ridiculously long period. It does seem that the time they are taking to do it is crazy in this day and age.

I’m hoping they are taking so long to do it accurately and conservatively and not because they are screwed up or making some cash on the deal.

Appears we missed a good opportunity between yesterday and today for a quick trade.

reading skills aren't required to whine on this site apparently. as -plg stated, you were informed in many ways.

You were notified via email, snail mail, weekly and on HR Direct on the transition period. Clearly HON's fault....
