I am working with one of the companies that Intel bought some time ago. The people seem to be really unmotivated but still hanging around. Does anyone know what kind of deals do they get when Intel buys the company? How long do they have to stay in the company until they can cash out and leave for good?

Usually the leadership of the company needs to stick around, usually for two years. I worked with folks from several companies that Intel acquired, most recently Nervana and Saffron.
Believe me that all of the folks from the acquired companies HATE working for Intel and want nothing more than to be left alone by meddling Intel know-nothing blowhards.
Deals? For what? Cash out? Huh?
