Wow with all the BS taking place since I left it's amazing employees are still around. They have weathered a lot of BS. Perspecta is the latest BS coming down the pipe. Executives sure are making big bucks with all these spin offs, mergers, divestitures and more. The poor little employees have been abused to the max. Not much left to say but glad I am out of that hell hole. Nepotism and favoritism is rampant. Those flocking to General Motors, Ford, Chrysler won't have much to say when the next downturn comes. Self auto and new brands are so way priced out of the range for the common schmuck to purchase that sales won't support staff's. The Trump tax mix will be interesting to see how it impacts society and business. The pasture is greener on the retirement side.

The redundancy program has an ongoing quarterly cycle. Applicants for VR (voluntary redundancy) will be invited over the next few weeks and compulsory leavers will be informed around the end of the quarter. This will continue until 80% of employees are based in low cost or offshore centers as per the strategy announced at the time of the merger.
Horizon = more WFRs and layoffs as Mikey wants to increase his bonus. When he is gone then everyone will wonder what is left of the DXC shell?
@ @Ssy1iaE-1rvp - spot on
" severance package and retired early" There is no package for US employee's , anywhere but the US you have it made with your long packages. 8 weeks max is the US
What a drag. Employees have to perform work for a company and it's management and know deep down they will get the axe. It's like staying with a spouse who cheat all the time and you know it. It's awful to work for a company where there is NO future or nepotism is involved knowingly.
Most of the legacy HPE people stay because no one wants them. I've interviewed many people from DXC in the last two months. Those with HPE history are very negative, arrogant and self absorbed. Some still refer to themselves as "EDSers". Like its a badge of honor. Yet they are the same people who ran EDS and HPE into the ground. Nepotism and covering your buddy's backside have gotten them where they are.
I took the severance package and retired early. This was clearly the best choice for me. Pasture is very green on retirement side.
All I know is that layoffs are continuing through 2018, customer base is eroding, and there is chatter that other parts of DXC will be sold or dissolved. What a bright future for all those who remain
