Call today was to inform those affected they are now impacted as the transition plan has been approved (surprise... not).

Only very upper management (claim managers) received Voluntary severance. Everyone else (SM, TM, CR) got the shaft (Involuntary). The difference is about $102,000,000 for the 3,400 “affected” employees. A quick review of the aliases from the “affected” employees shows on average their service with the company was 20+ years. HR refuses to answer ANY questions on why select individuals received Voluntary sererance. HR has been awful about providing answers to questions, all they do is stonewall. Of course that directive comes from upper management. July 31can’t come fast enough.
Is that the transition plan to remove upper management with spider monkeys?
Yay!!! Can’t wait to leave this place
Claims transition plan is what they had stated. You can go to the HR Transition site to see max weeks etc. as it depends on length of service etc. Only involuntary.
What is the plan? Voluntary? Involuntary? Maximum weeks of severance?
