Next round of WFR is one the way with at least 20% of the workforce to be removed with 20% increase in working hours.

This is so true. The Apps team that took care of security and CyberArk went missing. Seems that they were no longer required and the work passed on to the Windows team, so more work and less overheads

Empty or near-empty DXC buildings = more opportunities to cut costs and give Mikey a bigger bonus.

There are several rounds of layoff happening. Indian management is scared because of the dates being published here. The letters are being quietly given and the latest round will happen on April 13, Friday.

Layoff targets for 2018 have increased over 2017 and many from the Apps and Development (programming teams) are no longer required. Several teams will be gone.

Good Project managers in India get around USD 65 k per annum . Wake up and upgrade your skills

Not sure what you are doing at DXC with 2000 $/ month unless you are totally worthless or don't have credentials to back a good paying job . You are the reason that the employers can get away by abusing the employees as you would do anything to have a mere job ,no matter how less it pays .. If you don't trust me on this do talk to some HR friends of yours ( if you know someone ) from good organizations or look at other data points on salaries from internet .

Unless you are going with Insight Global ,Tek systems which justifies why you are getting paid so less .

'best shore' Bull sh--, they don't do the same job. Most of the India staff has college education, professional certification out the ying-yang. But still can't debug when things don't go as documented.

B"Best shore" you get what you pay for!

$ 35K is too much.. In indian towns, the salaries for project managers are around Rs 120,000 per month which is approx $2000 max.

The rest of the staff are paid much less .. now lets hear more about US salaries, etc and competition.. to be frank there is no competition with the low cost countries.

Indian workers are more motivated because DXC salary is alot of money to them. Come to the US and see what 35k a year salary will get you.

Its is not karma as in India most have got better jobs outside dxc for a better salary.

The last round of karma is when dxc will be shut.

again, best shore changes have happened due to American greed at the top level. you cant blame anyone for taking up a job just because you lost yours. That's stupidity.

believe it or not, many americans lost their jobs because they were too costly for the job.. as per the american management

What goes around, comes around. So many people in Europe and the US have lost their jobs due to 'best shore' changes. Sadly, whilst many of my offshore colleagues were very kind and friendly, they were lacking in knowledge and experience. Karma :)

Guys and girls,

it is for everyone bad to loose your job Also in the bestshore locations.

It is now not the time to play the revenge/Karma card. If you were located in India and they offered you a job you would also have taken it.

It is the management that makes those decissions to pump up the revenue. Not the fault of the Indian colleagues

Totaly agree !

US has lost so many jobs to India, its time for India to experience what we've been going through. What goes around comes around.

No sympathy from me. In fact.. karma.

Also we lost jobs to India and we did a better job , because we don't need scripts, we can think outside the box and debug. Most from India cant debug their way out of a wet paper bag

It is inevitable that cuts come to the best shore locations eventually, especially during a merger. Worth noting to though that there is also a lot of waste in the high cost locations too. Folks on good salaries who don't know their a-- from a hole in the ground.
