Hey Guys, as you might be aware that SPS marcom is moving to FortMill, Bracknell, Romania. But thy posted 90% of the marcom jobs in Romania only and leving no options to move to FortMill or UK, man what a calculated move. They should have told us directly to leave the company, this is torture at its best

I agree with SjkTC7s. Many perfectly lovely and qualified Romanians I have been working with during my time at Honeywell, and I’m not blaming them for sh--ty management decisions. It doesn’t seem fair that many European workers enjoy protections that us Americans don’t get. To have to train your European or Asian replacement at an American company is a slap in the face.
Has Trump, MAGA, ever talked to Honeywell ? Just curious.
Gents,
Romanian language is a Romance language. It is very similar with Italian, French and on a lesser level with Spanish. Many of those 'gypsies' may have a PhD.
Indeed, it is a pity that good American jobs move away somewhere in Europe or Asia but that is not those people fault. That is management "new" policy.
You are more than welcome to visit Transylvania or Moldavia or even Bucharest. You'll be quite impressed with the old and rich history that land has to share.
Over 300 job postings there, must be low cost workers.
Darius hiring a bunch of gypsies, whatever could go wrong with this move? There goes our compliance record...
That is really funny, how a company can think about saving cost. Soon you will see Honeywell hiring useless labour's for their factories
That should make the telecons super fun,
between time difference and language barrier.
Romania makes perfect Honeywell sense. Romanian is one of only two languages in Europe that has absolutely NO connection to any of the other European languages (the other is Icelandic). The d---s running Honeywell don't give a flying f---. They are looking at how cheap the workers are. They don't give a sh-- about customers or whether the material created by the Romanians is of any use or utility.
