Warn will come in April, somewhere around the 20th. Once again there will be two departure dates. That's fact.
Now for simple rumor- Some people will be exiting soon after the warn notice, with no requirement to work the 60 days that they will be paid for. These will be people at risk for IP theft that leave early.
Maybe it'll not happen
Maybe that comment by CA was based on the impending Broadcom takeover. Now that that is not going to happen anymore, the timing is relaxed, if it will happen at all.
SM also claimed last year that NXP would close soon.................yawn
