The board recently announced a 1bn saving in operating expenditure from SG&A.
I suspect legal, finance and IT, HR etc will see harsher cuts than engineering.
The majority of posters on here appear to be engineering employees. They’ll tell you they could do any of those roles themselves and so therefore we should just fire them all.
They’ll then argue that we need a non engineering focused CEO to grow the business without seeing any irony in that.
So if we’re firing those with poor analytical skills as well as those with poor grammar and spelling, it’s a very good thing this board is anonymous.
