DXC Technology no longer has IT professionals on its payroll. In fact DXC management refers to the employees as workers. The management talks of coworkers rather than colleagues. That has finalized the demise of 1000's of DXC's IT professionals in the USA and UK (and other global locations) effectively hiring workers and firing professionals.

In the USA only professionals are exempt, you may now be owed OT. It is only a matter of time that they will lose yet another class action suit for professionals who work evenings and weekends without compensation doing routine support and deployments. It is nice to see that DXC is admitting this.

but unfortunately when it is making payment and severance according to labor law, DXC states these are NOT workers, they are freelancers .. crooked DXC
Its trying to distance itself from the former partnership-client models and the colleagues 'we're all in it together' into a hierarchical ant farm model: that of workers, soldiers and flying HR partners supporting the big fat Queen at the top laying those toxic eggs.
You bring the food, the queen gets fatter. Once the worker becomes too skilled and experienced then the soldiers kill you and consolidate your ant hill into a super offshore colony and use new, offshore, hungry and eager ants that are disposable and without knowledge of what has gone on at the previous ant hills.
