BDC storage is the best place to be. Whole Dell EMC storage is reeling under the shadows of layoff. BDC leadership and team are having fun. Dr YouTube and Prof Candy Crush and super techies are all having fun in USA as Dell strategy is outsourcing to low cost country. BDC storage which has royally messed up equalogic product by introducing bugs and super messed up the Cyclone migration program have no accountability. Anything goes because they are low cost. Cyclone migration is a joke. It is a bogus project maintained by coverups of inefficiencies. It is gonna blow up soon.
What about cyclone migration project. That's a 1.0 release from BDC storage.
BDC storage is a Compellent outsourcing site. You don't need any great technical skills to fix bugs and provide patches especially when given specific directions from the original product teams from Minnesota. That they have screwed up equallogic can be excused. Equallogic is a stable and end of life codeline. BDC storage working on releases and fixing defects on equallogic is like doing surgery on a corpse. They don't know how to do that properly as well. A bunch of code coolies with meagre technical skills in a low cost country is what Dell needs to sustain their sunset products.
Other India sites have layoff. BDC storage only layoff was useless director.All other directors are playing candy crush and watching YouTube all day long. And also travelling to USA on company money to enjoy and shopping.

BDC is not the only Dell india site, other sites are also having fun. They are pushing all the old code and technologies, developed two decades ago to India, they are trying to milk the old cows while they still can. Indian managers are excited, hiring army of maintenance programmers. Their careers are getting extended, it fun to be a manager in big US based software firms in India.
