Good Question....
Oil Price is high
Market is improving
Slb still cutting and not investing
Morale still dropping I heard
Motivation is all stick and no carrot
Until people start leaving voluntary nothing will change and until the CEO retires the mentality will remain to cut
Too many Monkees here. We don't need more monkies.
The layoffs will continue until moral improves
If you are more than 25, you will never find job in oil and gas.
Have you seen requirements for hiring? New graduate! All of them,. No one hires seniors anymore.
You should be happy you found job under a year.
Maybe SLB should hire only monkeys.
There is a financial report seeking alpha that highlights SLB over cooked and road to recovery is slower than the market. "SLB has been overly optimistic" about themselves - typical arrogance,
lower than expected activity and prices suppressed seems like sales team need to transformation!

Maybe I just missed that big paycheck!
Thanks.
Glad no to be there now
Market is improving (nothing to do with SLB) 9/10
Atmosphere is still driven by a culture of fear not open and will not change until there is an increase in voluntary redundancy, this is the only way to change people attitude towards their peers, managers or direct reports. 3/10
Transformation and New Way of Working - "can do better" 3/10
Salary 5/10 market rate (But 9/10 if executive)
Benefits 3/10 trying to restore parts but the old socialist care of Slb are gone
Overall : 23/50 = 46%
Engage to excel results back this up where there was no real difference year on year.....
I miss it too, it the best job ever. I dont have to do nothing still get big fat check, bbq, free stuff. Miss it so much.
You miss working for SLB? You need to get treatment for that Stockholm syndrome problem you have.
We got a monkey to replace you and he's doing very well so we don't miss your contribution.
