U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, whose tenure as the nation's top diplomat ended today, made news again this afternoon with the announcement that he accepted a seat on the Board of Directors of T-Rex Oil, Inc (TRXO) of Broomfield, CO.
With the recently offered Fayetteville Shale up for grabs after Southwestern Energy (SWN) announced it planned to sell off the asset earlier this month, it came as no surprise that the former CEO of Exxon Mobil (XOM) would be picked to assist T-Rex Energy after it announced it's purchase of the Fayetteville Shale asset earlier today.
