Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

When will Stranded Costs be cut?

Anyone heard when those employees who get considered "stranded costs" will notified their jobs are ending? Will it Ben in two waves? Earnings conference call again stated spinoffs will leave no stranded costs, and "restructuring" budget is over $300 million

The TS spin is due In June 1 or 30, and Homes is due September 1 or 30. 2018

So layoffs in June or July? If 20% of business is spinning off, will it be 20% RIF?

Hahahaha! Good one-spinoffs leaving no "stranded costs". Will TS and Homes be taking their jets with them? How about one of these earnings call participants address the necessity and cost of maintaining a small fleet of planes to fly darius and his buddies around so they aren't subject to those pesky airport lines? Exactly how is the cost of Honeywell personal planes necessary to provide value to shareholders? Company planes didn't work out so well for GE now did it!

Investors call on Honeywell.com says they are going to spend $500 million mostly this year but some over next few years consolidating. $500 million in restructuring budget is almost double past years. So expect twice as many RIFs

The Homes spin is now end of year, based on the most recent earnings call.
