Baker Hughes last night confirmed it was looking to close and consolidate it's Aberdeen facilities
The US oilfield services firm has now put it's premises in Aberdeen up for sale. This comes shortly after the organisation previously revealed 45 staff to go.
A spokeswoman said Baker Hughes was “simplifying” its structure and operational footprint globally.
The moves comes as other leading oil firms have slashed jobs and cut costs in a desperate bid to reduce costs in an increasingly competitive oil market.
