The spare jet investigation should not be this difficult. Simply ask the pilots who instructed them to fly. We are paying Flannery $Millions and he can’t offer this simple transparency?

Jets cruise at 30,000 ft. Jeff usually was at 100,000 ft. Hard to see from that high.
I do not buy the lie that Jeff didn't notice the two jets. Private Jets typically fly into municipal airports and it would be hard to miss two of the same jets always parked on the same small tarmac. Again, simply ask the pilots who instructed them to fly. It's not that difficult to do. Jeff was earning $10,240 per hour and should have been smart enough to notice the other jet. I do not buy the lies.
@SRjiP95-1ovp is correct, the deception and lack of transparency continues with the current leadership. The lies and deception are the main building blocks of their DNA.
There's an old GE story about how whenever the CEO asked for a cup of coffee, an employee went out and tried to buy Brazil
Give Jeff a break. All he wanted was a plane ticket and someone sent him two jets.
This deception is the tip of the iceberg and actually very small compared to real issues that destroyed value for a lot longer or were complete breaks of accounting rules and laws.
Doesn’t matter if Jeff knew about it or not. It’s about the overall coverup and deception that continues with our current leadership.
For what it's worth, I know for a fact that Jeff was unaware of a "spare jet". Plenty of cause to criticize and find fault with the man however this is not one of them. Immelt told the board last year in a letter that he "did not have time to personally direct" the day-to-day operations of GE's corporate air team. He said use of the spare plane was halted once he became aware of it. This statement has never been disputed.
He is absolutely covering up for other GE leaders. And he’s getting paid big money to produce smoke and mirrors. This one is too obvious.
He is covering up for Jeff. Other leaders including many still with GE must be held to account.
