Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Swing and a Miss

Q1 released and WFT yet again misses, -0.25 rather than the -0.23 they forecast. They can't even tell you how much they are going to s--- they s--- so much.

We'll get them next time! Always another quarter to go. How much did management get in bonus for delivering this stellar result for the Co.

WTF tries to push around suppliers, most are getting hip to that and telling them to jam it. It's busy and they can get work elsewhere.

The culture there is horrible switching managers and VPs all the time. No lasting change for the better.

Some new program all the time. What happened to EEP, that everyone was forced to learn, what a waste of millions of dollars. I could go on and on.

still hanging in there at 2.70 so only lost 10% from that high. they still have time to shed some more.

But as WFT likes to think of itself as one of the big boys, lets see what their stocks are trading at;

SLB - 68.11 sure this price range is in the cards for WFT, what do you think?

HAL - 51.21 may be easier for WFT to reach this one, getting better

BHGE - 34.16 continue moving in the right direction for you

NOV - 37.76 Sorry, thought that one was going to be lower.

Good luck boys & girls, you're going to need it if you truly think this is a turning ship.

The ship has turned around? I will give you that as it continues to turn around, that is what you do when you circle the bowl.

This is a company that is having trouble making enough just to service the interest payments on their debts! They are down to a market cap in the neighborhood of 2.5B and have 7.5B in debt.

You must be one of those managers just looking to get a bonus for slashing another 15% of your team with no clue on how to operate or actually grow a business - but I guess without any cash to pay bills that is going to be hard and as WFT has and continues to burn their vendors I wish you good luck.

Nice try, whoever posted this. Your info s---s. WFT certainly isn’t a “thriving” company yet, but this ship has turned around, like it or not.

Yep. Interesting that WFT closed at 2.59 yesterday yet in pre-market trading it's at 2.92 (at the moment). This dead cat keeps bouncing and bouncing. On the other hand, if you bought in at 2.10, it's a good time to get your bit of change when the market opens.
