Steady decline of GTS

I think the most poorly managed section of IBM is GTS.

We see a lot of unworthy people in top positions. Employees who doesn't have any skills on the product are hired from bench or other teams.

What's worse is they are not even groomed. A few good employees have to do all the major tasks and bear the brunt of all this.

Appraisal is a joke ! I didn't even have one ! Now the major update- Recently people who wrongly clocked their shift allowance were asked to resign.

Now you can't say that it's a layoff! No more work from home options. IBM is the worst thing that I have seen in my 12 years in the industry.

Well said GTS is no longer a leader in technology, But now they layoff what is possible. Then combine with GBS, which is in same bad condition. Ibmer, Millenniums and Customer run!! Ibm is sinking fast

One-third of GTS is to be 'redeployed' or not replaced when they leave...

Well said, and that's exactly why the centers need to go.

Nepotism run amok in all of them putting inexperienced people in positions they don't deserve.

When you are a remote employee you are held to a higher standard no question.

I am sick of seeing dopes putting together pot-lucks all the time whilst the rest of us are busting a--.
