Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Paid to lie and steal

Must be nice to make this to run the company into the ground while others live check to check.

It doesn’t even matter. The shareholders approved his compensation, he will keep his job while thousands are out of theirs. Was it right what they took part in no, but he should suffer the same fate as them. This place makes me sick.

It's actually worse I knew people at Wells who were embezzling money and involved in countless s-x scandals all the while were not doing any work. These were not minimum wage workers but well paid staff. No governance or adult supervision in sight.

Sure isn’t! I am one of the honest employees and clearly you can’t read because I said “knowingly stole.” I am sure out of 5300 people you included some of them knew they were stealing, but I’ll let you play dumb for the sake of your conscious, if you have one. The ones that knew they were doing wrong should have a cell right next to old Timmy putting others jobs at risk for money.

Tim Sloan is that you posting or WF marketing trying to spin that employees were doing it on their own? 5,300 minimum wage workers fired for creating fake accounts doesn't sound like they all came to the same conclusion individually to commit identity theft and wire fraud. But were pressured by higher level management to do so.

I call bullsh*t! You aren’t going to MAKE me do nothing illegal! Would you rather be fired or go to prison? Please have many seats because with each post you sound more dumb than the last time!

They were forced to steal money through the threat of firings. In fact, some did quit and those who didn't steal were fired and WF sent a notification to other banks to not hire them and said that they were fired FOR NOT REPORTING ACCOUNT FRAUD. So WF had them blacklisted as being thief's who enabled account fraud when they did report it and were fired for refusing to steal money.

If you rescue me and I get out of here will the bad people try to hurt me?

Lol and I had to come back again after I saw any questions? What the hell did they think would happen? You want me to feel sorry for them? You must be one of them? Won’t be any pats on the back from me! I feel for the customers who were robbed so yes you sound absolutely stupid and should probably stop posting! Feel sorry for people who stole and now have to pay for what they did? Don’t have lawyers?? DONT STEAL! It’s that simple!!

Yes that is my issue! Why do we have to suffer because of his mistakes? To answer the last comment about the employees, they had free will! There is absolutely no way I will knowingly steal from people! 1. I don’t want it done to me and 2. I am afraid of jail! I would have rather took the loss and found another job than to go through all of this!! Sorry but they were not held at gunpoint to do what they did...if they had knowledge of what they were doing. It’s called greed pure and simple. You feel how you want to but because of this greed the people that have been faithful and honest will now have to suffer!

Well the employees who opened up fake accounts have been sued to release they're identities th o be prosecuted by law enforcement for committing identity thief and wire fraud. These employees don't have they're legal costs paid for by the bank so how is it stupid?

They were forced to work overtime to open fake accounts and were not paid overtime and got fired and are being sued to have their identities released to face prosecution. Any questions?

The other big issue is employees have being living with 1%-2% annual raises and have been told budgets are really tight. Then you see the CEO get a huge 35% pay raise. Ya employees are pissed! They even shut down the internal website to prevent employees from commenting on the CEOs huge pay raise.

That sounds stupid! It’s being questioned because he is getting paid to kill a company the vast majority have been loyal to! He makes millions to tuck away when everything hits the fan while everyone else will have to pick up the pieces. Who said anything about stealing and being investigated by the police???

Employees are questioning Sloan's pay because it's so large compared to the midpoint salary which the latter is higher than minimum wage salaries.

If you're being forced to steal money by the company and are the ones to get fired and investigated by the police then at least you should be paid to take on the risks. Unlike the executives who can afford expensive lawyers paid for by the company.
